Border Bash

Join residents of Bristol for their Friday night Border Bash in downtown Bristol. Held each Friday during the summer, Border Bash is your chance to experience the "local flavor" of Bristol. Browse the downtown shops, enjoy food items from the street vendors, watch the children as they enjoy the Children's Activities or sit back, relax and listen to the live music. A fun night for everyone!

Theater Bristol

While visiting Abingdon, Bike Virginia participants will have the opportunity to view a show at the Barter Theatre. Designated the State Theatre of Virginia, the Barter Theatre has a rich history dating back to 1933. For performance schedule visit the Barter Theatre web site. Performances sell out on a regular basis. Advanced ticket sales are available and Bike Virginia participants receive a discount. The Barter Theatre offers Bike Virginia Participants a $5 coupon for any show during the event when reservations are made in advance through the box office.
