After biking the Jamestown Island Tour road, see the film in the new "theater-in-the round" at the Visitors Center, then tour the archeological dig of the original fort, the church, the "new town" at Jamestown, and the fascinating Archaearium. Allone hour. Free with BVA wristband!

Jamestown Settlement

Board the Susan Constant, Godspeed or Discovery - replicas of the settler's original ships - to learn what 17th century voyagers endured. Talk with costumed interpreters at the re-created James For and visit a re-created Indian village. the brand new inddor museum is spectacular.  Fee required.

York River State Park

Enjoy canoing the park's gentle waters.

Take a canoe or kayak guided tour of the Chesapeake Bay estuary at York River State Park. Park rangers will offer five 1-hour guided tours as follows:

11:00 am - Canoe

12:00  pm - Kayak

1:00 pm - Canoe

2:00 pm- Kayak

3:00 pm - Canoe

Cost is $4.00 per peson. Reservations taken on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, email nicholas@bikewalkvirginia.org.

You will pay at the park, cash only. Sign-up and show-up. The Park Rangers will have the Bike Virginia list for those registered for each time slot.

Each canoe trip willl include 17 cyclists and a guide. Each kayak trip will include 16 people and a guide (tandem kayaks).
