Village View

Join us for a night of food, music, entertainment and a beer/wine garden at the historic Village View in Emporia. Village View, a federal style mansion house built two hundred years ago overlooking the village of Hicksford on the south bank of the Meherrin River, is a Virginia Historic Landmark and has been entered in the National Register for Historical Homes.

Sunday, June 25th will be Bike Virginia night atop at the historic Village View complete with a catered dinner, banana splits, entertainment and our second beer and wine garden of the tour.

“Music of the Civil War Period"

David & Laura Hildebrand will perform music of the Civil War era, including dance tunes and songs. Their performance will involve electronic keyboard and violin in duet, plus solos on guitar and voice.
