to visit the restored "Turner Ashby" house to
learn more about the history of Port Republic and
the culmination of Stonewall Jackson's famous 1862 Shenandoah
Valley Campaign.

Tube
on the Shenandoah --
Village Store Canoeing
Come join Village Store Canoeing for a relaxing float
on the Shenandoah River. Tubing will be offered on the
South Fork of the Shenandoah River on Sunday, June 20th.
The cost for tubing will be $11.50 per person. The price
includes transportation to and from Tent City at James
Madison University. Two trips will be offered (See table
below). There will be a 2PM departure, returning to Tent
City at 5:30PM, and a 3PM departure, returning to Tent
City at 6:30PM. Please contact Village Store Canoeing
directly to reserve your space. Limited to 100 persons
(50 each trip).

Show -- James Madison University -- Harrisonburg, Virginia
We need YOU
for our Talent Show on Sunday in Harrisonburg. You and
your friends can be the stars of the lip sync, stand-up
comedy, instrumental performance, solo singing, skits,
or dramatic readings. We will carry your musical instruments,
props, etc. for you during the week. This is the only
exception to packing lightly!
